    Cultivos periurbanos y cambios en los usos del suelo en la ciudad de Montería: el caso de los Garzones un enfoque desde la geografía rural

    Peri-urban crops and the growth processes of cities have been acting as catalysts of territorial dynamics in the sectors of contact between urban space and the rural sector, producing conflicts over land use, which usually change the spatial organization, for example. political decisions and instruments offered by land use plans; which ultimately generates confrontations between the affected peasant communities and the municipal administrations that exert pressure together with real estate agents, to acquire new spaces for urban expansion. The case of the Los Garzones district and its sidewalks is an example of the conflict processes generated by the proposals to convert this area of the city of Montería into a new commune, turning its land for agricultural use into an area of urban expansion, which that would end the socio-economic and cultural identity of these communities, and the risk of being dependent on other food-producing areas, which are further from the city, is assisted from the academy, the imperative need to maintain food security rings for the municipality of Montería and its area of influence, proposing from the perspective, the construction of an Agroindustrial Center, which maintains land uses in agricultural productivity, a viable perspective from the perspective of rural geography.

    Diferendo limítrofe entre los departamentos de Córdoba y Antioquia, Colombia: una coyuntura regional

    El departamento de Córdoba, desde su constitución como departamento, al igual que Antioquia, han permanecido en una constante disputa por los diferendos limítrofes existentes entre ellos. Lo que ha provocado que en la actualidad dicha problemática se agudice hasta el punto de llegar a los estrados judiciales, sin poder resolver aún la disputa territorial. En esta investigación se identificaron cuáles son los tramos en conflicto entre los dos departamentos. Se recreó, con ayuda de la cartografía histórica, una línea de tiempo permitiendo la comprensión de los pormenores que han trascendido a través del tiempo y llevado tal disputa territorial hasta nuestros días. Se analizaron las potencialidades territoriales de los tramos y municipios en conflicto para realizar la caracterización de la riqueza natural y cultural que poseen dichos territorios y así se logró el diseño de alternativas de solución o mitigación a los conflictos limítrofes existentes entre Córdoba y Antioquia. Los métodos utilizados en este trabajo de investigación fueron el cartográfico, a través del cual se buscó recrear visual e históricamente la configuración y organización territorial de los departamentos. El analítico y sintético, por medio de los cuales se elaboraron los productos de mayor importancia en la investigación, referentes al análisis espacial derivado de la coyuntura regional entre los territorios estudiados.

    Estructura agraria de la Sabana sucreña

    La estructura agraria es el resultado de las actividades económicas y modelos de explotación del territorio que van determinado e incidiendo en el modo de vida que adopta la población que en el habita, incluso influyendo en las formaciones de los diversos paisajes que los caracterizan. Con este trabajo se pretende conocer la estructura agraria de la Sabana Sucreña, teniendo en cuenta para su realización todos los factores que dieron origen a la formación geohistórica y las características que posee actualmente está subregión del departamento de Sucre. Es un estudio de tipo cualitativo basado en el estructuralismo geohistórico y está integrado por tres capítulos de gran relevancia para su eventual estructuración; el primero, comprende la propuesta de investigación del proyecto, el segundo capítulo abarca los procesos geohistórico de formación de la estructura agraria de la Sabana de Sucre, y el tercer capítulo se centra conocer la dinámica actual de la estructura agraria en la Sabana Sucreña.

    Inmigración Sirio-libanesa en Cereté: Legado al desarrollo empresarial del Sinú Medio

    In this work, the geohistorical process that explains the Syrian-Lebanese immigration in the municipality of Cereté is studied, multiple factors were combined for the development of one of the population movements from the Middle East to the Colombian continental Caribbean, where they were distributed by different regions , in the Sinú Valley, favorable conditions for trade allowed the arrival of Asians to the municipality of Cerete in the current department of Córdoba, where a large group of immigrants arrived whose presence was of great importance, leaving an economic and social legacy to the population. The incidence of these foreigners in the commercial life of the Sinú Medio province is analyzed, based on the entrepreneurship and intervention that they exercised in the local economy and on the territory, implementing commercial practices and activities in which they stood out (buying and selling, banking , river transport, public investments, agriculture, livestock and real estate), which allowed them to establish commercial relations at the national level, making themselves known and expanding their opportunities to prosper, managing to influence the strengthening of the commercial circuit of the municipality.
