In this, the weight, diameter, length, dry mass content of these tubers was evaluated, allowing to obtain characteristics of each of these varieties in the edaphoclimatic conditions offered by the municipality of Caucasia. The objective of the business practice was to evaluate and monitor the agronomic tasks carried out in the cultivation of bananas (Musa AAA). The follow up was carried out in the company Agropecuaria Grupo 20 S.A in the municipality of Apartadó - Antioquia. A series of activities were carried out that consisted of the supervision of the different agronomic tasks. In the results obtained from the protection of the fruit, shortcomings were found in terms of defoliation, bunch deviation, spur deviation, deflowering, among others. In the case of the cochineal evaluation, it was found that, of the 25 lots on the farm, two presented medium indices of the plague, while in the rest of the lots they presented low levels; In addition, it was obtained from the waste analysis that the most frequent problems are bag scars, scars due to mishandling, old gurbia cuts, short fingers, deformed fingers, lateral fingers, maturity spot, pacha, pegueta, comb. In conclusion, it can be said that in the Santa Marta Fabio farm, there has been an improvement in terms of the execution of tasks, production, and handling of the harvested fruit, obtaining a good quality and high productivity of the fruitPublicación Acceso abierto Seguimiento de labores culturales en etapas de vivero y establecimiento del cultivo de banano (Musa AAA) en la región de Urabá(2021-12-21) Juris Rivera, Álvaro Enrique; Cabrales Herrera, Eliecer MiguelIn order to improve the learning component on the management of export type banana plantations, this business practice was implemented, which was carried out in the Acacias and Ceiba farms of the company C.I TROPICAL S.A.S., whose main objective was to monitor the cultural work in nursery and establishment stages of the banana crop (Musa AAA) in these two farms in the Urabá region and thus contribute to better development, maintenance and production of the crop. The internship began with the induction and training on banana cultivation, where tasks were assigned in the supervision of the following tasks: planting of plants, weeding, cutting of the growing point of the shoots and rhizomes, planting and fertilization of these, counting and data entry of the shoots and rhizomes, counting and data entry of the shoots and rhizomes. In addition, work in the nursery stage was supervised: preparation of substrate and filling of bags, planting in bags, planting of meristems in bags, selection of propagation material, application of fertilizers, integrated management of pests, weeds and diseases. With the activities carried out, it was possible to obtain good quality seedlings and seeds, which were used in the renewal programs and harvest scheduling of different crop lots; plant health was also improved, among other things.
