This project is focused on analyzing and designing a system for automated irrigation, making a balance of soil moisture which aims at an efficient use of water together with the implementation of arduino technology and the assembly of electrical and electronic components. Basically, to carry out this automated irrigation system, you must have a soil moisture sensor, which will have the function of monitoring soil moisture, this will transmit an analog signal to the arduino board and this in turn will process the information for later generate an output signal, which will transmit to a relay that the latter activates or deactivates the electric pump. In this way we will be able to control the humidity of the soil avoiding that there is excess or deficit of soil moisture in the crop; at the same time it uses a temperature sensor to monitor how the culture environment is in this eggplant. For this occasion an experimental test was developed in an area of 5 m2, designating one for automated irrigation.
