The use of various technologies has changed the world, to such an extent that today you can carry out activities that in the past were considered impossible, for example, perform multiple operations in a matter of seconds, communicate with another person on the other side of the world just by pressing a button , revolutionize the teaching and learning process to bring it closer to the most distant territories. In the field of special education, the institutions (mostly private) have implemented learning mechanisms through the Internet, with specific applications or programs to carry out their activities. The Colombian government has created programs for the delivery of devices, installation of networks for educational use, offering an alternative method of receiving education for free. However, there is an important percentage of the special population that lags behind, because they are not part of urban areas and therefore their remoteness with it prevents them from having significant learning. The purpose of the presented project is to implement a mobile application that makes the teaching-learning process of children with Down Syndrome between the ages of 5 to 10 of the Educational Institution Julio César Miranda Sagrado Corazón headquarters in the municipality of San Antero The implemented application in question, is deployed as an instrument at no cost to the user, which allows the complementary process of teaching and learning in children with Down Syndrome.
