Metodología La investigación es de tipo descriptivo, transversal, correlacional, de enfoque cuantitativo. Los sujetos de estudio fueron 270 niños de hasta 10 años de edad que acuden al programa de detección temprana de las alteraciones del crecimiento y desarrollo, quienes no alcanzaron los parámetros determinados como normales, durante el periodo de tiempo comprendido entre enero y junio de 2018, en la institución El Prado del municipio de Cereté Córdoba. Para identificar la condición nutricional y clínica de los niños sujetos de estudio se midió la relación peso/talla, IMC, edad, peso/edad, talla/edad siguiendo los parámetros que establece la norma técnica colombiana y se hizo valoración clínica a una sub muestra de 30 niños.Determine the degree of effectiveness of the standards of the growth assessment chart of the World Health Organization in children of the Municipality of Cereté, 2018. Methodology The research is descriptive, transversal, correlational, quantitative approach. The study subjects were 270 children up to 10 years of age who come to the program of early detection of growth and development disorders, who did not reach the parameters determined as normal, during the period of time between January and June 2018, in the El Prado institution of the municipality of Cereté Córdoba.
