La investigación, realizada a través de un estudio de encuestas, examina factores socioeconómicos, académicos, personales e institucionales, junto con varios programas y estrategias de mitigación de la deserción ofrecidos por la oficina de Bienestar y el Programa. A través de un análisis cuantitativo-descriptivo se analizaron los datos de ADATAR para identificar a los estudiantes en riesgo de deserción. También se realizó una encuesta, y utilizando el software Orange fue posible la identificación de patrones, proporcionando una comprensión matizada de las posibles dinámicas de abandono. Se sugieren recomendaciones esenciales para reforzar las estrategias preventivas y las intervenciones dentro del Programa de Inglés.This study explores the factors that might trigger dropout and explores the knowledge and engagement with programs and mitigation strategies within the English Language Teaching Program at the University of Córdoba during the semesters of 2020-II to 2022-II. Conducted through a survey study, the research examines socio-economic, academic, personal, and institutional factors, alongside several dropout mitigation programs and strategies offered by the Welfare office and the Program. Through a quantitative-descriptive analysis data from ADATAR was analyzed to identify students at risk of dropping out. A survey was also conducted, and using the software Orange a pattern identification was possible, providing a nuanced understanding of potential dropout dynamics.
