In June 2008, the Patient Safety Policy was issued, which entails the four components of the Mandatory Health Quality Assurance System (SOGCS): Habilitation, PAMEC (Audit Program for the Improvement of Health Care), Accreditation, Information System for Quality (Ministry of Health and Social Protection, 2008). The main objective of this proposal is to carry out an educational program for healthcare personnel to promote a culture of patient safety in the E.S.E CAMU SANTA TERESITA according to the techniques for its application.
