Amador Ahumada, Concepción ElenaAgudelo Seña, Yennifer JuliethSepúlveda Martínez, Paola SusanaHernández Aparicio, Ardanis Armando2021-07-072021-07-072021-07-06https://repositorio.unicordoba.edu.co/handle/ucordoba/4244Los eventos adversos siempre estarán presentes al ingresar a una entidad de salud, por esto, la importancia de identificar acciones preventivas y estrategias que contribuyan a mejorar la seguridad del paciente, evitar posibles ocurrencias y factores que influyen en la incidencia de eventos, de esta manera en las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos Adultos (UCIA) Para lograr lo anterior, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de compilar la documentación que existe acerca del comportamiento de los eventos adversos presentados en pacientes de cuidado intensivo adulto de Colombia. El estudio resalta la importancia de la auditoria internas que aportan en la mejora continua de la calidad de la atención en salud; en este sentido, se utilizó un estudio de tipo revisión documental sistemática, correspondiente a una monografía científica de compilación, los resultados permitirán que el auditor y las UCIA, relacionen la información e identifiquen las medidas preventivas de eventos adversos como, políticas de seguridad del paciente y calidad, gestión de riegos, cultura general del reporte, barreras de seguridad. se concluye que las estrategias en cuanto a los EA en las UCIA son importantes ya que, son acciones que previenen la aparición de eventos, logrando así una mejor seguridad del paciente, guiada por el SOGC en salud y la política de seguridad, estas estrategias sirven de apoyo para los sistemas de salud, fortaleciendo la calidad en salud y logrando la disminución de estos EAAdverse events will always be present when entering a health entity, for this reason, the importance of identifying preventive actions and strategies that contribute to improving patient safety, avoid possible occurrences and factors that influence the incidence of events, thus in Adult Intensive Care Units (ICUA) To achieve the above, A literature review was conducted with the aim of compiling the documentation that exists about the behavior of adverse events presented in adult intensive care patients in Colombia.
