In view of the growing importance that has reached this concept, this monograph is made, in which does a summary of research papers mostly made in the last ten years by national and international authors. The work is developed under a methodology of exploratory research with qualitative approach, studying the different concepts and analyzing tools, advantages and disadvantages of reverse logistics. Then various applications of reverse logistics in dairies are analyzed and finally the current state of Colombian dairy industry and the use and application of this tool in this area is reviewed.
