These two localities present different habitat conditions, such as the structure of the vegetation, natural succession and anthropic influence. Said variation in some cases turns out to be a determining factor in the richness and abundance of lizards, however both sites turned out to be very similar in terms of the assembly of lizards. On the other hand, the dry season considered a transformation in primary forest habitats, thus resulting in a decrease in the supply of microhabitats, so that in places where this transformation was more evident, the absence of species was identified which in the time of rains were present, assuming their displacement towards areas with a greater supply of resources. The transformation of the land by anthropic factors, such as fumigation, pruning of herbs and shrubs, felling of trees and grazing livestock at Finca Palmeras, had a negative effect on the number of species in these exploited areas. Hacienda El Pino, for its part, turned out to be similar in wealth during the two climatic seasons, due to the little variation and the absence of stress generated by human actions..1. Resumen2.
