En Colombia ocupan aproximadamente 60.000 hectáreas, lo que equivale al 7% de la superficie total plantada de cultivos frutícolas. La práctica empresarial fue realizada en la empresa GRUPO 20. S.A, empresa bananera, ubicada en la zona de Urabá, Antioquia. Durante la ejecución de esta práctica, se realizaron actividades en finca Punto Fijo y María Bonita. Este trabajo se realizó con el fin de desarrollar actividades enfocadas en las labores de protección de fruta realizadas por los operarios, siguiendo el manual interno de procedimientos, se identificaron las principales problemáticas que afectaban el aspecto físico de la fruta, y para dar solución a esto se tuvo en cuenta el manejo de labores en campo y de este modo se valoró la importancia que representa la evaluación de la ejecución de dichas actividades dentro del cultivo, contribuyeron a la eficacia en el proceso de producción y a la implementación de estrategias de corrección oportuna que a su vez permiten obtener un producto final con la calidad que se solicita dentro de las exigencias del mercado. Adicional a eso, se le hizo seguimiento a la longitud y grado de la última mano del racimo por medio de mediciones al desmane F+1 y F+2, desde que se ejecuta el desmane, hasta las 9 semana después de prisión, donde se encontró que el desmane F+2 obtuvo mejores resultados con respecto al desmane F+1en la acumulación de asimilados y mayor ganancia de longitud y grado en los el frutoBanana cultivation is one of the main sources of income in the economy of more than 120 countries in the tropics and subtropics.
