It involves the process of influencing others to understand and agree on what needs to be done and how to do it, while facilitating individual and collective efforts towards shared objectives (Yukl, 2013). According to Daft (2008), “several critical dimensions of leadership include having a clear vision, authenticity, and emotional intelligence.” Leaders who possess these attributes are better equipped to effectively communicate their vision, establish trust and credibility with their followers, and respond to their needs in a supportive and empowering manner.
