It also allows people who are part of the health system to use the app to monitor patients who have heart difficulties. There were carried out measurements to people with some diseases like obesity and high blood pressure and also physicaly active and sedentary people. The results make possible a detailed elaboration of an algorithm that could work properly in most smartphones, this algorithm will estimate the heart rate of a person, no matter age or physical condition. It allows to know some people's perception and aptitude towards available technological tools, like smartphones, to monitor vital signs and health care.
