El primer objetivo específico fue seleccionar estudios previos que contengan información de concentraciones de metales pesados tomados por medio de muestras en sedimentos, suelos, agua, animales, plantas, alimentos y humanos de la región de La Mojana; para ello se tuvo en cuenta unos criterios de elegibilidad, fuentes de información y la combinación de algunos descriptores. El segundo objetivo fue registrar los resultados en una base de datos estructurada por año de publicación, tipo de documento, metal estudiado y ubicación en los municipios de La Mojana, incluyendo los municipios de Montecristo y Pinillos. Para el cumplimiento de este objetivo se realizaron tablas y gráficos que resumieron los datos que se tomaron de los estudios encontrados. El tercer objetivo fue sintetizar la información de los estudios para determinar los municipios donde se haya presentado mayor contaminación por metales pesados, de acuerdo a las matrices ambientales mayormente estudiadas. Con respecto a este objetivo, se registraron los valores de concentración de algunos metales en la matriz de sedimentos, agua y el pescado como el animal con mayor cantidad de estudios.The general objective of the internship was to support the creation of an environmental baseline regarding heavy metal pollution in the Mojana region, through a systematic literature review of secondary information. The first specific objective was to select previous studies containing information on heavy metal concentrations obtained through samples taken from sediments, soils, water, animals, plants, food, and humans in the Mojana region. For this, eligibility criteria, information sources, and the combination of certain descriptors were taken into account. The second objective was to record the results in a structured database organized by year of publication, type of document, studied metal, and location within the municipalities of La Mojana, including the municipalities of Montecristo and Pinillos. To achieve this objective, tables and graphs were created to summarize the data extracted from the identified studies. The third objective was to synthesize the information from the studies to determine which municipalities had higher levels of heavy metal contamination, according to the most frequently studied environmental matrices. Regarding this objective, concentration values of certain metals were recorded in the sediment, water, and fish matrices, with fish being the animal with the highest number of studies.1.
