Recopilar documentación sobre la Violencia Contra la Mujer (VCM), para analizar su evolución, normas y estrategias gerenciales en Colombia. Métodos. Se realizó una revisión narrativa de literatura a través de búsqueda sistemática en 10 bases de datos; Dialnet, Redalyc, PubMed, Science Direct, Scopus, IBM Micromedex, JSTOR, Google Scholar, PubMed y BVS; en estos se usaron palabras claves en español e inglés recomendada por el descriptor en Ciencias de la Salud (DeCS), por medio de la ecuación de búsqueda “Violencia AND mujer” AND “Gestión” AND “Administración Hospitalaria”, en los reportes a nivel mundial, nacionales o locales. Se citaron 98 documentos, entre artículos, informes o reportes, normas y tesis, los cuales conformaron muestra distribuida en cuatro capítulos. Resultados. Para el capítulo 1, 66,66% de las consultas fueron investigaciones diseñadas e implementadas en América; el 50% de las investigaciones fueron mediante selección probabilística, y el resto, mediante selección no probabilística, las cuales casi siempre relacionaron estudios de tipo cualitativo. Para el capítulo dos, se citan 45 normas (leyes y decretos) cuyos objetivos, de manera general, son proteger los derechos de la mujer en sociedad y establecer los criterios de intervención para el caso de mujeres y niños vulnerables. Seis citas conforman el capítulo tres, en el cual se muestran modelos gerenciales implementados en institutos de salud y algunos planes de intervención para la atención de casos. Conclusiones. Los tipos de acciones gerenciales en Colombia van desde la promoción, prevención y atención de las mujeres víctimas de la violenciaObjective. Results. For chapter two, 45 norms (laws and decrees) are cited whose objectives, in general, are to protect the rights of women in society and establish intervention criteria in the case of vulnerable women and children.
