Gómez Ramos, Arnulfo ManuelSierra Contreras, Katherine del Carmen2020-10-292020-10-292020-10-29https://repositorio.unicordoba.edu.co/handle/ucordoba/3479The thermal distribution and the standardized difference rate are analyzed in order to understand the spatial relationship between urban growth, surface temperature and standardized vegetation index (NDVI), using geographic information technologies (TIG) with the help of ArcGis and Qgis software that enabled the processing of the images used. A spatial relationship between growth zones and heat islands is evident, evidenced in the southwest area of the city, on the other hand, highlights the relationship that arises between urban growth and urban plant coverage, since the densely constructed areas coincide with those with no vegetation affecting the increase in surface temperature.
