This paper focuses on adaptive leadership, and to achieve great achievements, it is essential to conduct leadership in academia, specifically as adaptive leaders. In this personal leadership statement, we reflected on various concepts and perceptions of what it means to be a good leader, as well as assumptions, empowerment, and implications for the future.
