To achieve this, they direct their activities to contribute to the care of the worker, that is in a more comprehensive way, that involves all the factors that are determining and fundamental in optimizing both the health and safety conditions in the workplace, as in the continuous improvement of the fulfillment of the objectives and goals set, involving the workers, managers and the organization as a whole. Health Promotion consists of providing people with the necessary means to improve their health and exercise greater control over it, understanding health as a source of wealth in daily life, as a positive concept that emphasizes social resources and personal as well as physical aptitudes. Its action is aimed at reducing the differences in the current state of health and ensuring equal opportunities. The objective of this research is to determine the importance of health promotion as a strategy that generates healthy work environments in organizations and / or health-providing institutions, which allow managers and administrators guidance that positively favors the living conditions of the workers. To this end, the research question is the following: How, through health promotion, can a healthy work environment be generated for the workers of a health provider company or institution? Recognition of the value of this activity is increasing, due to the effectiveness and cost effectiveness with which it reduces the burden of disease and mitigates the social and economic impact of diseases. There is a broad consensus regarding the relationship between health promotion, health, and human and economic development. The question of this research is answered through the bibliographic review that constitutes a fundamental stage of any research project and must guarantee the obtaining of the most relevant information in the field of study, from a universe of documents that can be very extensive. In other words, the documentary search of 11 the already existing information on the topic chosen for this work, the analysis of the main ideas, conceptualizations and other works documented by the different health organizations and the WHO on this topic also plays a very important role. over time globally and nationally. The search strategies that were used, the organization and analysis of the information, made it possible to know how important health promotion is as a strategy that generates healthy work environments in companies or institutions that provide health, in Colombia according to the Ministry of Health This process provides populations with the necessary means to improve health and exercise greater control over it, through the intervention of the determinants of health and the reduction of inequity. This is carried out mainly through the following fields: formulation of public policy, creation of favorable environments for health, strengthening of community action and participation, development of healthy personal attitudes and the reorientation of health services; due to its characteristics, health promotion supposes a solid intersectoral action that makes possible the social mobilization required for the transformation of health conditions. In this way, it is also possible to identify the improvement in terms of worker participation regarding aspects such as strengthening the socialization of the programs and the acquisition of a model that allows them to improve both the management of their programs and the need to guide actions according to the sociodemographic characteristics of its workers. Bearing this in mind, all that has been previously discussed, it is recommended that companies or health provider organizations implement health promotion as a strategy that does work, as it has a great impact on the quality of life of workers, such as also in the proper execution of the work processes in said companies; At the moment, a labor globalization is being evidenced which has introduced new 12 technologies with a forceful impact on health, safety and work organization, since with all this new tasks have been created or formed which produce changes in relationships labor, in the organization of work and therefore, in the same working conditions. Working conditions can be defined as a set of factors that determines the situation in which the worker performs his tasks, and among which are included the hours of the organization of the work content, as well as social welfare services. In the same way, workers in turn must comply with safety procedures, protect their health and that of their colleagues and notify health and safety managers of the existence of an imminent danger that may cause any risk in the environment. In the same way, they must also participate in the definition of company policies and in the development and implementation of preventive programs within it. The purpose of a health promotion strategy and the Occupational Health policies of a health provider company or organization should be directed towards the prevention of accidents, injuries or illnesses at work and the promotion of the wellbeing and health of workers.
