METODOLOGÍA: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo y transversal, realizado en el primer semestre de 2025 con 100 gestantes adultas que asistieron voluntariamente a controles prenatales. Para la recolección de datos aplicó un cuestionario sociodemográfico y la CPS de Swanson, que evalúa las subescalas de sanador compasivo y sanador competente. El análisis se hizo en SPSS con estadística descriptiva. RESULTADOS. El 81% de las gestantes tenía entre 18-29 años, el 67% había completado la secundaria, y la mayoría estaba afiliada al sistema de salud. En cuanto a la percepción del cuidado, el puntaje promedio en sanador compasivo fue de 27/28, y de 37/40 en sanador competente, reflejando una alta satisfacción con el cuidado recibido. El 93% destaco el trato empático y atento, así como la escucha activa, la comprensión de sus preocupaciones y el profesionalismo del personal de enfermería. Sin embargo, se identificaron áreas para fortalecimiento, especialmente asociados a educación. CONCLUSIONES. Las gestantes manifestaron una alta satisfacción con la institución, lo que refleja un cuidado profesional que combina competencia técnica con sensibilidad humana. Se sugiere reforzar el componente educativo y comunicativo durante los controles prenatales. Además, se debe evaluar la percepción de las usuarias, para mejorar la calidad del servicio y empoderar a las gestantes en su proceso de maternidad, fortaleciendo así el papel de la enfermería como pilar de una atención ética, empática y humanizada.OBJECTIVE. Regarding the perception of care, the average score was 27/28 on the compassionate healer subscale and 37/40 on the competent healer subscale, reflecting a high level of satisfaction with the care received. 93% highlighted the empathetic and attentive treatment, including active listening, understanding of their concerns, and the professionalism of the nursing staff. However, areas for improvement were identified, especially those related to education. CONCLUSIONS. The pregnant women expressed high satisfaction with the institution, reflecting professional care that combines technical competence with human sensitivity. It is recommended to strengthen the educational and communicative components during prenatal check-ups. Moreover, user perception should be continuously evaluated to improve service quality and empower pregnant women in their maternity process, thereby reinforcing the role of nursing as a pillar of ethical, empathetic, and humanized care.1.
