La violencia doméstica es un fenómeno que afecta a todos los países y culturas del mundo, no distingue raza, edad, sexo ni religión y afecta a la víctima a nivel físico, psicológico, social y espiritual. Por lo anterior, este estudio tuvo como objetivo: Interpretar las representaciones sociales que construyen las mujeres cristianas de habla hispana a la violencia íntima de pareja que pueda develar sus significados, conceptos y actitudes tendientes a reorientar el abordaje integral de la problemática y abrir oportunidades de consejería espiritual a las víctimas. Para lo cual, se plantea un estudio cualitativo, biográfico-narrativo que explora en profundidad la actitud, nivel de información y campo representacional de las mujeres cristianas víctimas de violencia, para establecer rutas de mejoramiento que contribuyan con las acciones de salud pública de la población objeto de estudio. En este estudio se comprendió como las mujeres cristianas representan socialmente la violencia intrafamiliar y como ellas dimensionan este fenómeno, por tratarse un área poco explorada e incluir varios países de Latinoamérica y contribuir con el afianzamiento de la fe y la construcción de mecanismos que 13 articulen la acción de la iglesia, sector salud y todos los actores involucrados en este proceso.The behavior of violence generates mental health problems, during the Mandatory Preventive Isolation by Covid-19 there was an increase in cases, worldwide, a situation that has revealed the environment that families live inside their homes.
