La práctica empresarial se realizó con el objetivo de hacer seguimiento a las labores agronómicas que se realizan en el cultivo de plátano (Musa AAB Simmonds), con el fin de mejorar la calidad de la plantación y aumentar la producción en la empresa Agropecuaria Los Robles ubicada en el municipio de San Juan de Urabá. De acuerdo a las evidencias obtenidas, en la zona platanera de Urabá muchos de los productores no cuentan con operarios fijos y capacitados para ejecutar una labor específica, convirtiéndose así en un problema, debido a que, no se cuentan con los criterios y objetivos del porque se realiza cada trabajo. Por lo cual, se realizó un diagnostico general de la plantación, con el fin de identificar los problemas que se venían presentando, dando como resultado la ejecución de los planes de supervisión, realizado por el cuerpo administrativo de la empresa. Obtuvo como resultado de que muchas de las pérdidas que se generan en la empresa se derivan de la mala ejecución de las labores culturales, expresándose en la productividad y la vida útil del cultivo.The banana in the course of time has positioned itself as one of the main foods for the family basket and thus becoming one of the resources to safeguard the food security of developing countries, it is also considered as a source of income for life of farmers.
