The results obtained in the research indicate that commercial activities present a spatial pattern with a tendency to concentrate in the central zone of the municipality, which is typical of cities with a monocentric urban structure and low population sizes. Likewise, four focal points of agglomeration of commercial facilities are identified in the central sector, since it is the oldest area of the municipality of Cereté, with a concentration of 48% of all commercial establishments, delimited around the Central Park of Cereté and in turn, more than 88% of the neighborhoods are located at distances of less than 300 m and 12% at more than 1000 m from the nearest establishment, resulting in the northwest and southeast areas that are farther away from the city center.
