One approach is followed through, students will observe their leaders in action and understand their challenges and see leadership in context. This paper articulates transformational leadership and its implications for improving foreign language programs. It will argue that transformational leadership can motivate teachers, promote innovation, and improve the quality of foreign language education by focusing on growth, diversity, collaboration, and meeting higher-level needs of teachers. This paper will elaborate on providing autonomy, resources, and support to empower teachers and build leadership capacity. It will imply that transformational leadership requires a long-term commitment from schools, including giving teachers more autonomy, involving them in decision making, and valuing their input, which can help motivate teachers and lead to continuous improvement of foreign language programs.1.
