Herrera Gutiérrez, ConcepciónMercado Luna, Laura VanesaArgel Arteaga, Astry Carolina2023-08-182023-08-182023-08-17https://repositorio.unicordoba.edu.co/handle/ucordoba/7683El presente trabajo investigativo titulado: Estrés laboral del personal asistencial de salud y la ocurrencia de eventos adversos prevenibles, se propuso como objetivo, documentar en un manuscrito, la relación existente entre el estrés laboral del personal asistencial de salud y la seguridad del paciente, siendo factor contributivo en la ocurrencia de eventos adversos prevenibles, durante la prestación del servicio de salud, para lo cual se desarrolló un estudio descriptivo. El proyecto se desarrolló en dos fases sucesivas: heurística o de búsqueda y selección y la hermenéutica conocida como asimilación o redacción de los textos por los autores; de esta segunda fase surgieron las consideraciones finales, conclusiones y recomendaciones. Los resultados mostraron que la documentación científica coincide en que una de los principales factores que genera dicho estrés es la sobrecarga laboral. De igual forma, el entorno estresante al cual se exponen los trabajadores más, en esta época de pandemia, Esto exige la implementación de estrategias en las instituciones de salud, que contrarresten los efectos y las posibles implicaciones y consecuencias que esto genera en la atención y la seguridad de los pacientes. Los aspectos más importantes relacionados a la aparición de eventos adversos en la atención en salud, más aún en época de pandemia, son: inadecuada dotación médica, extensas jornadas de trabajo, exposición a sustancias peligrosas y patógenos infecciosos, la calidad de los cuidados de los pacientes por parte de la entidad de salud donde labora, entre otros.The present investigative work entitled: Work stress of health care personnel and the occurrence of preventable adverse events, was proposed as an objective, to document in a manuscript, the relationship between work stress of health care personnel and patient safety, being contributing factor in the occurrence of preventable adverse events, during the provision of the health service, for which a descriptive study was developed.
