La gestión de información da cuenta de una serie de factores que explican que la toma de decisiones puede contribuir para mitigar conflictos y gestionarlos en cualquier organización, en este caso en las instituciones promotoras de salud. Como soporte teórico se revisaron los aportes de Lazzati, Amaya, Sanabria, entre otros, cuyos argumentos sobre los factores y elementos o ingredientes funcionales en la toma de decisiones como insumo para el manejo de conflictos. Metodológicamente, el estudio se ubica en la revisión documental de fuentes primarias y secundarias y el respectivo análisis de su discurso para obtener conclusiones y recomendaciones asociadas al tema. De esta forma, los resultados del estudio permiten diseñar una estrategia de recolección de información, a manera de encuesta que al ser aplicada permitiría establecer la relación entre la toma de decisiones y el manejo de conflictos dentro de una institución promotora de salud.The purpose of this study is to recognize, through a review of the literature, decision making as a significant strategy for managing conflicts in health promoting institutions. Information management accounts for a series of factors that explain why decision-making can contribute to mitigating conflicts and managing them in any organization, in this case in health promoting institutions. As theoretical support, the contributions of Lazzati, Amaya, Sanabria, among others, whose arguments about the factors and elements or functional ingredients in decisionmaking as an input for conflict management, were reviewed. Methodologically, the study is located in the documentary review of primary and secondary sources and the respective analysis of their discourse to obtain conclusions and recommendations associated with the subject.
