Within the framework of the pandemic and the health emergency caused by COVID-19, the Colombian Ministry of Health established an action plan for the provision of health services during the containment and mitigation stages of the pandemic, with the purpose of organize health services. Objective. Evaluate the implementation of the action plan for the provision of health services during the containment and mitigation stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in a low-level complexity health care IPS in Monteria-Córdoba, taking into account the provisions of the Ministry of Health. Materials and methods. Descriptive cross-sectional study. From the total number of health institution officials (n = 135) (n = 68) administrative officials and (n = 67) healthcare officials, a stratified sample of 100 officials was taken (n = 50 from the administrative area and n = 50 from the care area who anonymously filled out a virtual questionnaire that assesses compliance with the actions carried out by the IPS for risk management and provision of health services and human talent management during the containment and mitigation stages of the COVID-19 pandemic The analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics. Results. Most officials have a perception of high compliance in the implementation of the action plan for risk management and provision of health services in the administrative area (66%) as for the management of human talent in the healthcare area (56%), which indicates that there are strengths and opportunities for improvement that mainly correspond to the ac actions aimed at human talent and physical infrastructure. Conclusions. The global results indicate the need to expand training and training to cover 100% of employees. It is recommended to implement a continuous improvement plan aimed at feedback and monitoring actions in the provision of services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
