Resumen en inglés
In Córdoba for several years, has been developed Hábitos y Estilo de Vida Saludable (HEVS) program, «Por tu salud muévete, Cordobés”, which constitutes a plausible community strategy to promote healthy habits and, specifically, the regular practice of physical activity . The objective of this research was to analyze the association between obesity and the behavioral risk factors of the participants of the program (HEVS) of the city of Montería. For this, a cross-sectional analytical design of cases and controls was proposed. The data were obtained from the registry of the HEVS Córdoba program, subsequently the data was filtered and those who met the following inclusion criteria were selected: women formally enrolled in the HEVS Córdoba program of the city of Montería, with an age range between 18-64 years, and those cases that had incomplete records in the database were excluded. The study variables were calculated and the categories (present and absent) were established. The selected sample was (n = 135) organized into two groups: excess body mass (n = 85) and normal weight (= 50). In addition, an analysis was carried out under the data mining approach that allowed to establish natural grouping based on the algorithm of the two-phase cluster that, in a complementary way, allows to deepen the characterization, comparison or relationship between the study variables
