One of the main consequences of the continuous exposure of the workers to ergonomic risk factors is the development of Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) considering these as one of the principal causes of occupational morbidity worldwide. In health sector, this is a problem that affect workers from different areas, due to the constant exposure to ergonomic risk factors, mostly lifting and transfer of patients, repetitive movements when administrating medications, in most cases causes back injuries, of upper limbs and neck. At international level, designs of new instruments and strategies are being developed, focused on reducing the prevalence of these diagnoses which represent a high cost for country's social security and affect quality life of workers and the appropriate development of their functions
