This work aims to design a gamification tool in order to influence the behavior of workers and teach them in a didactic and participatory way to perceive the risks to which they are exposed daily in the work areas of the Cerro Matoso mine and contribute to the reduction of accidents. As a basis for the design of the tool, information on the accidents at CMSA from 2017 to 2019 was collected and a survey was carried out on the workers in order to know the causes of the events and the behavior of the personnel in their area. of work. Based on the survey and the information from accident investigations, low risk perception was identified as one of the main causes of accident occurrence. The design of a gamification tool was pointed out to change the behavior of workers and decrease the occurrence of these events.
