Determinación de zonas geopotenciales para los cultivos de plátano y aguacate antillano en el municipio de San Carlos, como alternativa para la seguridad alimentaria

The municipality of San Carlos, located in the central subregion of the department of Córdoba, this has a wide range of geopotentially agricultural areas for the cultivation of Antillean avocado and banana, these areas were managed to zone by using the tools of geographic information technologies (TIG) according to the Multicriteria Assessment (EMC), which takes a series of criteria or parameters previously established , associates restriction criteria and eligibility criteria to subsequently carry out the calculations necessary to define the geopotential area for antillean and banana avocado crops in the municipality of San Carlos, with these results, the analysis was carried out based on the corrections present in the municipality. Since much of the north and west of the municipality has areas suitable for banana cultivation and a portion of the center, east and south of the municipality have territories for the cultivation of Antillean avocado. This could be met with the objective, which is to determine the agricultural geopotential of soils for banana and avocado crops anti-tithing through multi-trip evaluation, to contribute to the production of optimal and sustainable development of the productive areas of the municipality of San Carlos – Córdoba.
